The SanDisk Mobile and Connected Solutions team is kicking off the week of the Consumer Electronics Show with the 13th Annual Consumer Telematics Show today at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas where leaders will discuss the technology revolution in the automotive industry. SanDisk is a sponsor for the 2015 CTS which is organized by TU-Automotive (formerly Telematics Update), a leading communications hub for automotive technology.

Today’s CTS Agenda will cover expert perspectives on connected cars and some key challenges for the automotive industry including:

  • How will the infotainment ecosystem evolve for emerging automotive software services?
  • What are the latest perspectives and advancements on autonomous technology for the automotive industry?
  • How will wearables change in-car experiences?
  • What are ways that connected cars will be integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT)?

Martin Booth, Director of OEM Marketing at SanDisk will be featured on the infotainment panel at noon that will discuss how the in-vehicle landscape is changing and adapting. This panel titled “The Ecosystem Earthquake: Is Infotainment Still Shaking?” will be moderated by Jeff Hannah, Director, North America, SBD and discuss strategies that OEMs are leveraging to differentiate their connected services as well as techniques to grow their user base for emerging applications, app stores and services.
